Homework

Homework Policy: Homework is expected to be turned in on the due date. If late, a "Homework Notice" will be sent home to parents to be signed as a reminder. If it continutes to be a problem, a plan will be made between teacher, student and parents. We are very flexible when it comes to wanting our children to succeed. If homework is an issue at home please contact us!
Classroom Management Plan
As a class we decide how students should behave to make it a safe learning environment in the classroom. The school has established rules called "The Weatherbee Way". If a behavior is unsafe or not respectful in the classroom, we will follow the protocol established by the class. If a student is not following "The Weatherbee Way", a "golden ticket" is given to the student. The student is also sent to the principal’s office and parents are notified of the behavior. The principal decides the consequences based on the behavior. We will also be using Class Dojo this year to reinforce positive behaviors. This site will also promote communication between teachers and parents about what is happening in the classroom.
