Hello there!

I am so excited to start this journey with all of you. This will be my second year at Weatherbee (but my first year as a teacher). Last year I was a student teacher on a fourth grade team, and was a long-term substitute for a fifth grade classroom. I graduated from the University of Maine in 2015 with a degree in Elementary Education (concentrating in math). Teaching children has always been what I was meant to do, especially growing up as the daughter of an educator. While math is a subject I am passionate about, I am looking forward to growing as a writing teacher as well this year!
